These terms and who we are

These terms describe the basis on which you may use seravento.click, the website of Reedy Creek Catch Studio. Reedy Creek Catch Studio is a small independent studio that designs casual browser and phone games about angling, lakes and rivers, lures, rods, boats and ice fishing.

By opening the site you accept these terms. If you do not agree with them, please stop using the site. Questions about anything on this page can go to info@seravento.click, and we reply within two working days.

The free games

Every game on the site is free and open right away. There is nothing to set up, no password to enter and no record kept about you; you do not need to give us your name or your e-mail address in order to play anything here.

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive permission to play the games for your own enjoyment on your own devices. You may not copy, resell, sublicense or redistribute them, and you may not present them as your own work.

Scores and progress

A score is just a score. It has no value of any kind, cannot be exchanged or transferred, and gives no right to anything from us or from anyone else. Nothing inside a game is a promise of anything of value outside the game.

The best score is kept in your browser's local storage on your device. If you clear your browser settings or play on another device, the score may be gone; we do not keep a copy on the server and cannot restore it for you.

Browser storage and installed apps

The site sets no cookies. Local storage keeps only the cookie-banner choice, the colour-scheme choice of the apps and the best score of the game. It stays on your device and you can clear it in your browser settings whenever you wish.

Installing an app (PWA) adds an offline copy of its pages to your device, so the game opens without a connection. Removing the app removes that copy. We do not see what your device stores and cannot reach it from our side.

Custom games made to order

Our paid work is custom games made to order. If you write to us about one, we first discuss what you need and then set out the price, the scope and the dates in writing. Work starts only after that written agreement exists.

The agreement for a custom game stands on its own next to these terms. It describes the deliverable, the schedule and the responsibilities of both sides; where it differs from these terms, the written agreement for the project prevails.

Prices, invoices and payment

Payment for custom work is made by bank transfer against an invoice. No payment is taken on this website: the site has no checkout, no card fields and no payment provider of any kind, and nothing is charged while you play the free games.

The invoice states the amount and the payment details agreed for the project. Please quote the invoice number with the transfer so we can match it. Bank charges are borne by the payer, and the dates in the written agreement assume payment on time.

Intellectual property

The games, their artwork, code, text and sounds, and the design of this website belong to Reedy Creek Catch Studio or are used with permission. Your permission to play does not transfer any ownership to you, and it does not give you the right to reuse the material elsewhere.

If a custom game is made for you, ownership and rights of use are set out in the written agreement for that project. Until that agreement says otherwise, the material developed for the project remains ours.

Availability, liability and changes

We keep the site and the games available as best we can, but we do not promise uninterrupted service: servers need maintenance and things break. The games are offered as they are, for casual play, without a promise that they suit a particular purpose.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect loss arising from use of the free games. Nothing here limits rights you have under Australian consumer law. We may change these terms and the site, and the current version is always on this page.
