Privacy Notice

This notice explains what happens to information when you visit seravento.click or send us a message. The site is small and so is the list of things we handle: a contact form, a spam-protection hash, standard server logs and a little storage in your own browser.

Updated 07.11.2026

In short
  • The contact form sends your name, e-mail address, optional phone number, request type and optional message to this website's own server, and we use them only to answer you.
  • With each request the server stores a one-way hash of your IP address, used only to block spam at a maximum of five requests per hour.
  • Requests and hashes are deleted automatically after 6 months.
  • The site runs on a rented server of a hosting provider in the European Union, which acts as our data processor and keeps standard access logs for security.
  • There are no accounts, no payments on the site, no analytics, no advertising trackers, no third-party embeds and no cookies.

Who we are and how to reach us

Reedy Creek Catch Studio is a small independent studio that designs casual browser and phone games about angling, lakes and rivers, lures, rods, boats and ice fishing. This notice explains what happens to information when you visit seravento.click or write to us.

You can reach us at info@seravento.click, and we reply within two working days. A postal address is not published; e-mail is the reliable way to reach the studio, and we use the same address to answer questions about this notice or about information you have already sent us.

What the contact form sends us

The contact form sends the following fields to this website's own server: name (required), e-mail address (required), phone number (optional), request type (a choice from the list) and message (optional). Nothing else is asked, and you are free to leave the optional fields empty.

We use these details only to answer your request: to reply, to ask a clarifying question, or to send the information you asked for. We do not add you to a mailing list, we do not track you individually, and we do not use the details for any other purpose.

Spam protection: a one-way hash

With each request the server stores a one-way hash of the visitor's IP address. A hash cannot be read back into the original address; it only lets the server recognise that a request comes from the same place as earlier ones, which is enough to notice repeated automated submissions.

The hash is used only to block spam, at a maximum of five requests per hour. It is never used to identify you, to track you individually or to produce statistics. Like the requests themselves, these hashes are deleted automatically after 6 months.

Hosting and standard server logs

The website runs on a rented server of a hosting provider in the European Union. The provider works as our data processor: it stores data for us and acts on our instructions. The server keeps standard access logs for security, such as the time of a visit and the pages requested.

Access logs help keep the site available and protected against abuse. We do not combine them with the contact form. There is no analytics tool, no advertising tracker and no third-party embed on the site, so nothing here follows you across other websites.

How long we keep things

Messages sent through the contact form and the spam-protection hashes are deleted automatically after 6 months. If we are still answering your request at that point, we will tell you and keep only what is needed to finish the conversation with you.

We keep nothing longer than necessary. Because there are no accounts on this site, there is no profile to close and no archive of your play to maintain. The games keep a best score in your browser, on your own device, not on our server.

Your choices and your rights

Under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles you may ask what personal information we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, and raise a concern about the way it was handled. Write to info@seravento.click and we will answer within two working days.

If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC), GPO Box 5288, Sydney NSW 2001, https://www.oaic.gov.au. The OAIC is the supervisory authority for privacy in Australia and publishes its own guidance on making a complaint.

Storage in your browser

This site sets no cookies. Browser storage (localStorage) on your device keeps only three things, listed below. All three stay on your device rather than on our server, and all three can be cleared in your browser settings at any time you choose.

If you install an app (PWA), an offline copy of its pages is added to your device so the game can open without a connection. That copy belongs to the app you installed and disappears when you remove the app.

  • the cookie-banner choice
  • the colour-scheme choice of the apps
  • the best score of the game

Games, scores and paid work

The games are free, and a score is just a score: it has no value of any kind and cannot be exchanged or transferred. Nothing on this website is bought or sold through the site itself, and no payment is taken here.

Paid work means custom games made to order. If you ask for one, we agree the price, the scope and the dates in writing before work starts. Those details belong to that written agreement, and we handle the business contact details involved for that purpose only.

Changes to this notice

We may update this notice when the website or our tools change. The current version always lives on this page, and it describes what the site does now rather than what it did in the past, so it is worth a look before you send a request.

If a change affects the way we handle messages you have already sent us, we will say so here and, where it matters, reply to you at the e-mail address you used. Questions about any version of this notice are welcome at info@seravento.click.
